Learning Skills are aptitudes, abilities, and techniques used to acquire new knowledge and skills. These skills are distinct from disciplinary content and can be developed to progressively higher levels of performance. The Classification of Learning Skills is a core component of Process Education and an essential resource for any educator interested in: 1) designing curricula that includes skill development, 2) measuring and improving student learning outcomes, or 3) aiding their own professional development.
