2007 Process Educators Conference

Mark your calendars today and plan to be in Washington, D. C. on July 12th and 13th, 2007. The third conference of Process Educators, originally planned for May 2006, has been postponed for 14 months so that we can better meet the needs of participants. The University of the District of Columbia will host this event. The theme of the conference will be Student Success through Faculty Success and it will feature five tracks:

  1. Helping students to master content knowledge.

  2. Building students’ learning skill (across all domains).

  3. Promoting students’ self-assessment and reflective practice.

  4. Engaging in faculty development in order to enhance student success.

  5. Contributing to institutional effectiveness through the use of individual and group assessment.

The call for proposals will occur early in the fall semester of 2006. It is not too early to begin to plan for the topic that you wish to share with others via either a 90-minute concurrent session or a poster session.
