A NEW edition of Foundations of Chemistry will be available for Fall 2016.

We're anticipating several new activities, lots of new problems, a question bank for instructors, and a choice of formats: print-only for the same POGIL activities in the same format as previous editions or print + online for access to the content that makes the workbook a full textbook and more.

Planned options available online include mini-lectures and informational readings by Dr. Dave Hanson, web links to helpful resources, student quizzes (to ensure that pre-requisite reading and learning is taking place) and much more. We'll keep you posted about this exciting project!

While it is early days yet, plans are in the works for a

series of popular books about Process Education.

The first book will introduce the concept of Learning to Learn, giving teachers, students, and parents the information they need to dramatically increase student learning and academic success. How we learn isn't a mystery; we have 23 years of experience in not only improving learning but putting learners in control of improving their own learning.

The second book will focus on learning skills from the cognitive, social, and affective domains. Because improvement in learning skills is directly related to improvement in learning, regardless of the specific content (science, math, language arts, or even general life skills), this book will give parents and teachers what they need to help learners improve as learners. With the included mini-rubrics and activity ideas, it will be easier than ever to improve learning in any context.
