Quality Resources for Students & Faculty

Pacific Crest has carved out a unique niche as a publisher in higher education. Different from traditional publishers who concentrate on curricula designed for traditional methods of instruction, Pacific Crest is guided by the philosophy of Process Education with its emphasis on learner self-development and the continuous development of learning skills.

Our main focus is the success of first-year college students. We know that many students struggle without the necessary learning skills or the means to improve upon the skill base they bring to college. It is imperative that a strong foundation is built during students' first year to ensure their future success. Starting with Foundations of Learning, used in first-year experience courses, Pacific Crest offers a series of curricula that seek to improve students’ learning and self-assessment skills along with their ability to learn course content.

We also offer resources for faculty interested in improving their teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum design skills.
