Designing Learning Objects Institute March 31 - April 2, 2008

This event is for faculty who are interested in designing curriculum to advance student learning through the effective use of technology. The focus will be on integral components of a course curriculum called learning objects. A learning object consists of the following components: resource materials that include streaming media, presentations, interactive models, and hypertext content; learning activities with inquiry questions; content validation items; and portfolio items. All of these components are Internet-based so as to facilitate development, assessment, and management of the learning objects.
