Building a Life Vision Based on Values, Passion, & Meaning
W
HY
Clarifying your key values, identifying the passions (activities that give your life purpose and meaning)
that express these values, choosing a career aligned with your passion, and self-assessing and reflecting on
your behaviors all lead to a greater quality of life. The noise and confusion of daily life and the challenges
it brings can make it difficult for us to follow our inner compass and not be distracted by quick and easy
external rewards. Having and using a strong life vision grounded in values is the best way to live a life that
is meaningful (aligned with your values). Adding the practices of weekly reflection and self-assessment
simply makes it that much easier to live the life that you have intentionally chosen, while helping you to
consistently strengthen your commitment to a fulfilling and happy life.
