Welcome to the College of Business at Illinois State University. You face an interesting and challenging journey as you progress through your academic program and into the world of business. The course Enterprise was designed to assist you on your journey and to help you make informed decisions along the way.

This text was developed by a large number of faculty across the college, all of whom sacrificed considerable amounts of personal time to develop materials without receiving any compensation. Faculty contributed because they believe in our undergraduate students and in providing the best direction possible. You should be aware that all royalties from this text will go into a special BUS 100 fund to help finance the Enterprise course and not to faculty. Examples of how these funds will be used include bringing in quality speakers, supporting student activities within the class, and in time the possible awarding of scholarships to outstanding BUS 100 students.
