Teaching with AI Institute

We stand at a pivotal moment in the evolution of education and while the traditional boundaries of teaching are being redrawn, it can be through augmentation instead of automation. This May, Pacific Crest invites educators to be part of a groundbreaking Teaching Institute that combines the proven principles of Process Education with the cutting-edge power of AI-driven facilitation to accelerate and deepen the process. This is more than just a professional development event; it’s a bold leap into the future of teaching and learning. The experience is designed to help you redefine your role as an educator, mentor, and designer of transformative learning environments and develop the skills, mindset, and strategies you need.

Why This Institute? Why Now?

As learning environments shift to become more learner-centered, active, and assessment-rich, faculty must adapt to roles that go beyond delivering content. This Institute is your opportunity to develop the skills, mindset, and strategies required for this new era—while actively using AI to accelerate and deepen the process.

Today’s educators are being called to become:

Designers of personalized learning paths
Facilitators of critical thinking and self-assessment
Mentors for growth and performance
Innovators in course and activity design
Champions of lifelong learning

What makes this Institute unique?

At the heart of this Institute is the Learning Process Methodology (LPM)—a 14-step model that provides a powerful structure for facilitating high-quality learning experiences. You’ll experience this model firsthand, but with a revolutionary twist: For the first time, each participant will be supported by a customized GPT-powered coach, including the Learning to Learn Coach and 7 other AI mentors—each aligned to a core Process Education role such as Assessment, Facilitation, Activity Design, and Self-Growth Coaching.

This isn’t just about learning to use AI. It’s about learning with AI, through AI, and learning how AI transforms what it means to teach and learn.

What will you experience?

  • Immersive learning sessions that model a Process Education classroom from the student’s perspective

  • Hands-on AI integration using customized GPTs to co-facilitate teaching, assessment, and course design tasks

  • A deep dive into LPM and how to structure any learning experience for performance, growth, and transformation

  • Dynamic assessment and self-assessment tools powered by AI

  • Reflective activities that examine the changing identity of educators in AI-augmented classrooms

  • Team-based problem solving and facilitation with AI as your co-designer

Key Learning Outcomes

By the end of the Institute, participants will:
