The Terminology of Information Technology
Before the activity
Record the basic agenda or plan as outlined by the team leader:
Our team will be creating a class glossary
of information technology terms. There are 4 of us in the team, so we will split the Vocabulary list of
60 words evenly among the 4 of us. Each person will use the suggested resources (dictionary and
the internet to find definitions. We will each use MS Word and create a document so we can merge
the lists into a single document. Everyone agreed to send me their lists by e-mail and I will be
responsible for creating, saving, and printing the final document which I will bring to class.
During the activity
Important information to be documented:
Each team member will create a Word document that lists his
or her 15 words. Definitions for each term will be added below each term. The source of the
definition should be included in parentheses after the definition.
