This issue of
Reflections differs a bit from what you’ve seen in the past. The
biggest difference is that we’ve chosen to devote two full pages
to Foundations of Mathematics, a ground-breaking textbook that
will be available for advance purchase this summer. While the
innovations it contains are somewhat surprising when compared to
traditional math texts, they will look very familiar to process
educators. We are proud of this book and its author, Joyce Fremeau from Baker College...we simply couldn’t resist showing a
bit of the design and methodology behind the book!
As for the rest
of this issue, two (or even four!) pages really wasn’t enough.
The Academy of Process Educators had two very successful and
productive meetings of members with powerful results. And last
but certainly not least, is our newest Regional Professional
Development Center at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and the
2007 Process Educator’s Conference, in Washington D.C., July 12
& 13. |
