                    The Personal Development Methodology

                                Learning skills: exploring context, interpreting, being non-judgmental

   WHY

The Personal Development Methodology is a tool to help you approach the process of personal development
in an organized and effective manner. By making a conscious effort to improve, you are far more likely to
experience achievements and growth than by being reactive and taking a “do nothing” approach. Your life
is too important for you to fail to improve and develop.

   LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Gain a better understanding of the Personal Development Methodology and how it can be used to
    develop proficiency with the process of improving and growing as a person.

2. Learn to apply the Personal Development Methodology by analyzing it in the context of the given
    example.

   PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

Criterion #1: your team’s discoveries about the Personal Development Methodology
    Attributes:
    a. demonstrate a level of comprehension or application (beyond simply a statement of fact)
    b. unique; different from other teams’ discoveries

Criterion #2: the connections made between the case study and the Personal Development Methodology
    Attributes:
    a. answers to the Critical Thinking Questions are complete
    b. you can provide a justification for your answers to the Critical Thinking Questions
